Transcript for "Campfire Fractional CFO Demo":
How's it going, everybody? Welcome into Everyone, today's. Excited to get this going. Hi, everyone. Where is everyone based? And maybe another more interesting question, maybe where you're based. And, I'm a big fan of the farmer's market here. I'm I'm in San Francisco, so I like to go every week. Maybe what is your favorite vegetable? I'd love to see some, some fun answers. Personally, I'm a big fan of broccoli right now, Okay. which, don't tell my mom because, she couldn't get me to eat it for, like, seven years when I was a kid. Oh, spaghetti squash. That's a great one. Lots of things that you can do. Give a minute... Other minute or so for folks to trickle in. Oh, cucumbers. Awesome. There's, like, really great things that you can do with, like, cold salads. Big fan of those. Kyle, I'll call on you. Do you have a favorite vegetable? I love asparagus, grilled asparagus specifically. That's also a good one. Yeah. With, like, a nice steak, some chicken, some salmon. That'll know we're. talking about I wanna go straight to the meats. Right? But I love some asparagus. I think the, the vegetable question always takes everyone a little bit aback. They gotta, like, think about it. Alright. Awesome. Well, we'll start kicking things off. Just wanna thank everybody for for spending the next fifteen minutes or so with us. Really wanted to host this session for our our fractional CFOs. Quick introduction on my end. My name is Vasilisa Bernat. I lead partnerships on the accounting and fractional, firm side. So, happy happy to have all of you join here. But a little bit more about me, I joined in January. So nine months in, I I feel like a veteran. I was on the sales side before coming over to partnerships and also happy to report this is my third ERP company. I come from some of the legacy players that I'm sure you've heard of, like NetSuite and Sage Intacct before, coming over to Campfire. But we are super excited to to show you the the platform today. Kyle, I'll let you do a proper introduction. Thanks, Vasilisa. How's it going, everyone? I wanna echo Vasilisa's sentiment. I'm really looking forward to today's conversation for all of you to learn more about Campfire. In terms of me and my background, just joined Campfire this past quarter as a solution consultant after seven years of solution consulting experience at NetSuite, demoing mostly to software and service companies. So my background is with ASC six zero six, revenue recognition, complex billing use cases, obviously, functionality and and key insights that every fractional CFO would wanna have perspective on. Prior to my experience at NetSuite, I spent some years at Ernst and Young as a staff auger and as well as JPMorgan doing some internal accounting work for their global real estate team. So that long journey has led me here to Campfire. And just like Vasilisa, coming from our, their ERP experience, we're really excited to show you Campfire, how we position ourselves, not only ERP space, but well as the AI space as well. So very much looking forward to today's conversation. Awesome. Thanks, Kyle. And so we had a chance to to review. Thank you to everybody that submitted questions beforehand. We'll be able to to cover those as we go through the demo flow. But again, this time is for you. We wanna keep it really, interactional. So we have the q and a up. So folks, feel free to submit if you have any questions. If you want us to double click on anything, please don't be shy. We're we're happy to to make sure we we can provide you the right answers. And with that, I think we're we're ready to kick it off. Feel free to take it away, Kyle. Let's do it. Alright. Awesome. Really quickly, showing the Campfire dashboard right here. I always like to point out at a high level. So Campfire, we're an AI native ERP and accounting platform built mostly for service businesses. We combine the core accounting functionality that you would expect from any mid market ERP. And then what we do, as Vasilisa mentioned, we embed AI throughout our platform via our Ask Ember tool. So we'll make sure to spend a lot of time walking through use cases related to Ember today. But at a high level, I wanna start with our Campfire dashboard. So this is what you're gonna see every time you log in to Campfire on a daily basis. As you would expect, this is role based. Internal controls and segregation of duties certainly will apply. So everyone's dashboards, the CFOs, the controllers, the CEO, your staff account, etcetera, their dashboard will be tailored to what they need to see on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, again, with the end goal of allowing them to be as efficient as possible when they're managing their everyday operations. Wanna highlight some key widgets here. We can see GL metrics such as overdue AR, to do's related such as approvals, Amber Chats, and under categorized transactions. We can see that all right here. We also have access to widgets, such as a statement of cash flows. We have our cash widget right here, revenue, again, GL related metrics. But taking a step further, something a CFO is certainly gonna care about, especially for SaaS and services related business, is those SaaS related metrics. Right? ARR, burn rate, etcetera. We are able to combine both the GL related metrics and the SaaS related metrics that everyone needs to have to operate their business and get the full health, scope, and picture of their business daily, weekly, and monthly. So this is the dashboard here. Again, consider this your control center every time you log in to Campfire, again, tailored to your specific needs. What Vasilisa and I certainly wanted to point out is dive into reporting really quickly. I'm gonna go ahead and pull up an income statement here. And as I'm pulling up an income statement, what we always like to point out is a lot of the reasons why customers come off of certain software ERPs and on a Campfire is that multi entity consolidation. That's all native with inside our tool. So if I go ahead right now, we can see just a standard p and l, right, broken out by rip my revenue and expense accounts. I can go in here and change the specific cadence of the time and the frequency that I wanna see. So let's go ahead and change it to this month, but as you can see, I have an option to change it to this quarter, this quarter to date, this year, etcetera, etcetera. I'll go ahead and click apply. And now let's dive into that multi entity piece. If I select the vault view right here, now what I'm seeing on the income statement is actually a a brand new report, right, where on the columns, I can see each and every one of my entities, my subsidiary in The UK, my subsidiary in California, my elimination entries I'm eventually gonna back out at the end of the month right for intercompany transactions, make sure they net out to zero, obviously rolled up to the parent as well as my total. On the left hand side here, I can also see my departments. So what's really nice about Campfire, we have, no limits when it comes to custom dimensions that we can set up within inside your guys' platform. So class, location, a custom tag maybe like product line or project, etcetera etcetera. We can set those up for you for dimensional reporting with inside our tool. In this example here, I'll break it back out by a specific account. So in order to do that, I'll just go back here instead of rows for department, I'll select account and again that updates in real time for me. If I go ahead and select department again, and we'll go back to the standard view, default view. What a lot of people ask us is, hey. What's the drillability? What's the real time access to this information? Like you would expect in any ERP. Right? We can drill down to the source transaction detail. So if I want to see what makes up that 186,000 of service revenue, I'll double click on that link right here. It takes me to this screen where I can see all of my service revenue journal entries that for revenue recognition purposes, of course, I am moving from deferred revenue that's sitting on our balance sheet as a liability and moving it to recognized revenue. That would show up on this screen right here. I'll click on the transaction record, and this is the journal entry that I can see on a go forward basis now. And then now they're talking about the real time access of this information. Again, as transactions are flowing through the software, so journal entries, invoices, vendor bills, The appropriate reports that those entries flow into will be updated in real time on a screen like this. So no more managing by exception. No more being reactive when it comes to making business decisions. This all lives with inside of Campfire right here allowing you to be proactive on a daily basis. Now this is nice, and, of course, if we wanna create some custom reports, we're able to do that inside of Campfire as well. You know, a common report that Vasilisa and I will hear from our customers is EBITDA. We can certainly create that with inside of Campfire, but what I always like to point out, there's a lot of ways to kind of skin a cat when it comes to custom reporting, custom dimensions with inside our solution. So this screen right here, it's a custom EBITDA report. If If I go ahead and click edit, this is where it kind of really amounts to, like, a pivot table that you operate within Excel, where now it's living within our core ERP. In this example, I moved removed depreciation expense. You guys will see how easy it is just to toggle and play around with this. Let's say I want to remove interest income as well. Go ahead and move it to this column right here. The numbers update in real time for me. Let's say for my operating expenses, I want to move my salaries and wages to a different account or let's say COGS, I want to move my channel partner down to my operating expenses. Again, it's drag and drop point of click functionality. I don't need to have a computer science degree to play around with this information. Customer reporting, again, a lot of ways to go about this. This really amounts to, like, what a pivot table would look like in Excel. Again, now it's living with inside of our ERP. And that's all great and grand. Right? But like we like to point out, we are the AI native ERP. So let's talk about how AI can help make better business decisions for us. Again, if I want to know, hey. My CFO comes to me or my controller comes to me and says, what was my depreciation expense variance from q two to q three? Sure. You can go into an income statement like I just did. You can drill down to the reports and records and probably get that answer. It might take you five to ten minutes. Right? Why don't we just leverage AI? And this Ask Amber tool, it's gonna be something like you use on a daily basis with Claude or ChatGPT. I can simply ask it a question such as, hey. What was the change in depreciation expense from July to August? Just like we would see when we leverage Chachi, BT, or Claude or any of the AI tools that we're using on a daily basis for both our personal and professional lives, it might take a few seconds to run here. But what's really nice about this EmberAI tool, everybody, it's going to show its work. It's gonna give me some supporting documentation. It's gonna give me an answer, and it's gonna explain why. So, again, instead of spending maybe five to ten minutes building out this report or trying to drill into this number with inside of our ERP, we can just leverage our EmberAI tool right here. And that's really just the tip of the iceberg when we talk about EmberAI with inside of Campfire. Sure. I can use it for deterministic calculations, but what I could also use it for is task management automation. So I can ask it a question, or I can tell it to run a custom agent such as allocation use cases. Hey, Amber. Allocate my vendor bills from Figma by department based on headcount, build the journal entry, and show me your work, please. And, again, it might take a few seconds to run here, but what's really nice about this tool, it's gonna show me its work. It's gonna provide supporting documentation, and it's gonna create the journal entry for me. Now, of course, again, going back to what I was talking about at the beginning, segregation of duties, internal controls in place. Certainly, we can set up approval workflows where, hey. We want Amber creating the journal entries for me, but we want Kyle. We want Vasilisa. We want our controller to go in and actually approve the journal entries. Very easy to do so with inside Campfire. Again, we're a role based system really focused on segregation of duties and internal controls. As you can see in the back end again, it's just computing the allocation. It's taking my head count, my statistical account that's set up with inside this Campfire database. It's gonna break it out, my software expense, across those departments for that specific vendor. It's gonna create the bulk journal entry for me, and then what I can do at month end is I can approve the journal entry. And then I can set this up as a reoccurring task that I manage not throughout the month, but maybe at month ends. Maybe this is something that I wanna do on b d minus two or b d minus three. This can be automated for you via custom agent. As we can see, we now have this journal entry automatically created for me. This is something when I think back to my career at NetSuite or even as an internal auditor and accountant, this might take me an hour, two hours to create or get the answer for. Now this is living with inside of Campfire, and it takes about two minutes to create. I can go ahead and create the journal entry just to see the work that Ember did for me. Again, it's automatically pulling in the software expense account. It's calculating those percentages for me by department based off headcount. So I can go ahead and save this transaction. It's gonna hit the GL for me automatically, which is great. But that is really just one of the many agents we can create as part of, not just a month end close, but task automation throughout the month, throughout the quarter for you and your team. I'll go ahead and go to our Embra AI button right here, and I'll select agents. This is something Vasilisa and I talk about all the time. We are amazed at the number of custom agents and, customer use cases that come across our desk that can be solved for via a custom agent with inside of Campfire. As you can see here highlighted, we have over a 100 custom agents created with inside the system that you can leverage for you and your business. I always like to show the accounts receivable one. I think this is something that every business is gonna, resonate with where this screen right here, we see the agent creation settings. I want you guys to focus. This is basically the inputs, the rules, permissions, parameters I set up for this custom agent. So for this specific example, it's gonna be payment matching where as bank payments are coming in via Campfire, via CSV, via direct integration to your bank, whatever the case may be, as those bank transactions are coming in, let's match those to open AR invoices. No longer is this gonna be a month end task that you manually have to do. We can leverage custom agents in order to set this up. I can set a dollar amount limit as well where I say, hey. Actions above this amount will wait for Kyle's approval. We'll wait for the CFO's approval. The runs, that's basically gonna be your frequency and cadence. Right? Where on this tab that, mentioned recent runs, I can see, hey. How frequently am I running this? Is this gonna be something that I run each and every month? Is this something I'm running on a weekly basis? Maybe even a daily basis when it comes to cash payments and open AR invoices. That's something you wanna see each and every day. Certainly can set that up for you with inside of Campfire. And then this action screen right here, what this really is is basically your outputs. Right? So these are all the invoices. In this case, these are all the transactional records that are flowing through the software that based off the bank payments that are entering into Campfire, let's match those to open AR invoices. We can see that output on the screen right here. Again, we can run this each and every day. We can work on this each and every month. The point being, this is gonna provide you automation for you and your team to manage your business on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Now That's our agents. I know we've walked through a lot so far, reporting custom agents. Something that Vasilisa and I wanted to make sure we highlighted today was a new reporting tool called our forecasting tool that we'd actually just, embedded in each and every one of our customers' Campfire instances. I think this is gonna be really relevant for the, folks on the call, the fractional CFOs that have experience in the software and SaaS space. Again, like I was alluding to at the beginning of the call, you know, a lot of companies, they need insights into their core GL metrics. Right? Reports that the auditors and the accounts are gonna care about, revenue, expense, etcetera, etcetera. We also need insight into those SaaS metrics as well. This is a great tool where we kind of bridge the gap between those SaaS metrics and p and l reports. So, for example, if I focus on this actuals here, this is just like a standard income statement that I just saw on the previous screen. The committed, that's everything that is scheduled based with inside of Campfire. So contracts, prepaids, leases, depreciation schedules, That lives on the screen here where we say, hey. This is basically a deferred revenue waterfall. I know all of these contracts or all of these transactional records tied to a specific customer, tied to a specific month. We're eventually going to move from deferred revenue to recognized revenue. That eventually is going to be reflected on our p and l. Instead of waiting for month end to see that, let's see this throughout the month now. Let's bridge that gap between the p and l and our SaaS metrics dashboard, and that's what we're seeing on the screen right here. We can even take a step further via estimates. And so what estimates are saying, at least on the revenue side of things, is, hey. Sure. We have our schedules related to maybe contracts that we're booking revenue for monthly in arrears, But maybe there's a usage component. Maybe there's something that's not tied to a schedule, but we know we're going to book an amount for for that specific month that can live on this estimate screen right here. On the expense side, it's a great use case for accruals. Right? So rent, utilities, expense accounts that maybe the vendors don't send us those bills until the following month, that can live on the screen right here. Again, when we think about having a more efficient close, this bottom line is gonna get you there where you have real insight into the health of your business, not just at month end, but on a reoccurring daily basis. So Vasilisa and I wanna make sure we we walk through that today. I know, Vasilisa, you want to just reintroduce the q and a, but, is this something we've been showing a lot of our customers. Right? It's been it's it's been very relevant for each and every one of them. Yeah. Absolutely. We we just released this and we've gotten some really great feedback on the solution. We do ship very quickly at Campfire, so I do encourage all the folks and we'll send it out. There's a a link that we have to a a weekly email that we send out to our customers of just what we worked on that week. So really just staying up up to date. But for folks that just joined, Kyle's going through the demo. If there's any questions, please feel free to throw it into the q and a. We wanna make sure that this is interactive and, of course, answer all your questions, make this really valuable for for all the folks joining. So appreciate it. Let it rip. Let us, know us know what you're thinking. Awesome. Thanks, Vasilisa. Alright. So we've walked through a lot so far. Right? We've talked about the dashboard overview. We've dove into reporting both on a custom reporting tool as well as leveraging our Amber AI tool. I think it would make sense to talk about our SaaS reporting. So I'm gonna go ahead and pull up our revenue dashboard right here. Again, this dashboard looks very similar to the dashboard that we saw our control center at the beginning of the conversation. Right? Except this dashboard is gonna be tailor made for maybe a controller or a CFO that needs insight into their SaaS metrics on a daily basis. So it's gonna be metrics such as reoccurring revenue. Extrapolate that out twelve months. What's that gonna give us? That's gonna give us our ARR. Right? Net retention rate, net retained revenue, car, average contract value, that all lives on the screen right here. What's nice about these SaaS metrics and something a lot of prospects and customers will mention to us is, hey. This is really great, but maybe we calculate gross churn, for example, just a little bit differently. Very easy to customize with inside of Campfire. Right? Our goal is to try and get you 95% of the way there when it comes to a reporting tool like this. And then for those customization use case, we can certainly work with you to get those custom formulas set up. But there still is a lot happening here on this screen just natively. For example, we have a reoccurring revenue waterfall. So going back to that forecasting tool that I was just showing, where, really, when we looked at that committed screen, that was just the reoccurring revenue waterfall of all deferred revenue accounts we're eventually gonna recognize revenue for. That can also live on this screen right here. But we can slice and dice it dimensionally a couple different ways. I see it broken out by customer here. Hey. Maybe Vasilisa want to see it seen it breakout by product. Just drop down. I can toggle between those two views. I can do the same thing but for revenue by customer. Maybe I wanna see the total amount. Maybe for this month, I just wanna see MRR for August or September. Again, just toggle drop down right here. I don't need a computer science degree to kind of play with this information. It's all native to you, on your revenue dashboard right out of the box. And so since we're talking about SaaS metrics, I think it would make sense to walk through an actual con contract use case to see what our revenue module looks like. I'll go ahead and go to this contracts here. So for for those of you who are familiar with the mid market ERP landscape, don't necessarily worry about the nomenclature. We call it contracts. You might hear it call orders within another tool or maybe sales orders. For example, in Campfire, we call them contracts. What it is, it's a living, breathing document that you're going to bill off of and recognize revenue off of, that will hit both your balance sheet, your p and l, your GL, as well as your SaaS metrics. With inside Campfire, we make sure to point out that we can bifurcate. We can separate, decouple billing from revenue recognition for your guys' billing and order to cash use cases no matter how complex they are. So if you're billing semiannually or you're billing quarterly or maybe upfront and you're recognizing revenue for subscriptions, maybe monthly in arrears, but maybe for milestones, it's based off percent complete, or maybe it's based off a a, trigger event with inside the software. That can all be handled with inside of Campfire natively. In order to ingest contracts within Campfire, multiple different options like Vasilisa and I always like to point out, we are open APIs. So whether it's proprietary software or more of a, native CRM like a Salesforce or a HubSpot, That information can come inside of Campfire where we mark an opportunity closed one in a CRM like a Salesforce or HubSpot, and it comes in as a contract record within Campfire. What I can go ahead and do really quick before we actually walk through the contract workflow is So I'll go to settings. I'll go to connections. And just to show you the multitude of different connections we have and we can tell you to build out with inside of our core ERP, I'll go ahead and highlight the CRM tab right here. If I go to Salesforce, this is where we can see actually the plumbing being done. So the objects in Salesforce that we're gonna sync to set Campfire live here. The Campfire objects that we're gonna sync back into a CRM like a Salesforce or HubSpot can live here. So we just like to point out the flow is bidirectional. Opportunity marked closed one in HubSpot or Salesforce gets pushed into a contract record with inside of Campfire. And then as we invoice it with inside of Campfire, and we wanna push that invoice back into a CRM, it's more than, capable with inside of our ERP. So, again, that hopefully gets you 95% of the way there. And if there are use cases where, hey, Kyle. Hey, Vasily. So we have a custom field with inside of Salesforce or HubSpot or maybe our proprietary billing solution that we need to push inside of Campfire. We're certainly able to do that, not only for a, quote, unquote, plumbing perspective, but also for a reporting perspective as well. Awesome. And I see some questions coming in here. Awesome. Decimal place is supported. Absolutely. How will old software data enter into Campfire? Is it journal entries, bills, expenses, deposits, invoice, etcetera? Dealer's choice there. So no matter what, we probably suggest it be a journal entry. But really, what's what what is a bill or what is an invoice? Right? It is a journal entry. So in use cases like the Campfire integrate or excuse me, the Salesforce, the Campfire integration that we mentioned, it would come in as a contract record that we then invoice off of. But let's say we're using something like Ramp for AP, that can come in as a vendor bill, that can come as a as a journal entry. It's up to you guys for both, reporting purposes and, let's say, customizability use cases. But that would be up to you, and that would be something we'd work through during the implementation process. Let's walk through one of those, revenue use cases now. So I'm gonna go ahead and pull up a contract record here. I'm gonna go ahead and create a contract. We'll go ahead and call this Kyle's contract. I'll tag it to a specific entity. I'll tag it to a specific customer. And, again, as we can envision, like we were talking about earlier, maybe this came from Salesforce, maybe this came from HubSpot, maybe this came from our proprietary billing solution. The example I'm showing here, I'm actually gonna just upload a contract from my desktop. I'll go ahead and click next once that's created. You'll see here what our tool is doing is actually parsing through the information. So it's smart enough to say, hey. On that PDF that Kyle just uploaded, the billing frequency, the start and end date, the estimated contract value, the currency, that all flowed in automatically. So no manual input on my end. It's, again, one us being one of the leaders in the AI ERP space, just automated parsing through documentation ingestion. It's it's something that's gonna benefit each and every one of our customers when it comes to manual inputs. I'll go ahead and click next here. Here, we can see it broken out. I have my subscriptions, and I have my milestones. So my subscriptions can be something like a module that we sell, like a core accounting solution. Milestones can be something like implementation services where, hey. We're not recognizing revenue on a scheduled basis monthly in arrears. We're actually going to recognize it upon completion. That can live on this milestone tab right here. I'm gonna go ahead and click create contract, and now what's happening is now it's a living, breathing document with inside of our Campfire ERP that, again, we're going to bill and recognize revenue for on a go forward basis. Lot going on here, so I just wanna make sure to to highlight everything one at a time. What this revenue tab really is, everybody, it's just a summation of our subscriptions, our usage, and our milestones. So depending on your order to cash billing use cases, no matter how simple or maybe how complex they are, that information can live on these tabs here. And, again, based off the contract that I just ingested, we can see those subscriptions highlighted here and those milestones as well living on a separate tab. For those usage, situations where there's a usage component to your billing, that's where we would manage this right here where we can set up maybe pricing tiers, usage drawdown for prepaid usage that can live all that can all live on this tab right here. In this specific use case, let's focus on milestones and subscriptions. So we have that set up. Let's say, hey. First, we wanna invoice for this contract. In order to do that, I'll go ahead and click schedule invoices. Again, the start date and end date are automatically pulled in for me. I'll just invoice in bulk for demo purposes, but, of course, we would invoice one by one based off the specific month and based off the billing frequency. So, for example, for billing monthly and it's September month end, we're just gonna send one invoice out for the month of September. Tax situations. Again, something Vasilisa and I see a lot. So managing tax rates, we have a multitude of different partners we leverage for that. Avalara is one of the popular ones that I see. So those tax rates can automatically pull them. And then from an end user standpoint, I can go ahead and select them right here. Auto send invoices, that means it's automatically go out to our customers via email. I'll go ahead and click next. Create invoices. And I wanna highlight again something I mentioned at the beginning of the demo when we were talking about reporting, just the real time access and the drillability of this information with inside of Campfire. So that invoice is automatically saved. If I go back to my revenue tab, there we go. We can see that invoice that I just created that happened in real time. And if I drill into the invoice, here's that source transactional record. Right? So when we talk about real time access to the information, when we talk about drillability with inside Campfire, it's not just from a reporting standpoint. It also lives on this screen right here as we're actually walking through a specific workflow. In this case, an order to cash billing and revenue workflow. So that invoice lives there. If I go back to my revenue contract excuse me. I'll go back to the previous screen. When in terms of managing milestones and, revenue recognition, that, of course, can be separately. So in use cases where, hey. Maybe we're billing up front a 100%, but we need to recognize revenue separately, monthly, and arrears or upon completion. That lives natively with inside Campfire, and then these metrics or I should say these transactions would flow into our SaaS tool, MRR, ARR, and then eventually at month end for subscriptions that we're booking monthly in arrears or upon completion for those implementation services, we will recognize revenue. What we can go ahead and do is we can see that actually on the period close checklist. One of the options that we have for those monthly subscriptions as it relates to revenue is booking it at month end as part of the period close checklist. So that can live right here as well as many other tasks that we can manage our month end close for. So, again, depending on your business', you know, not flexibility, but complexity, let's say, when it comes to or to cash use cases, when it comes to billing, when it comes to revenue recognition, we always like to point out we're ASC six zero six compliant. We can manage those complex revenue recognition use cases for you. We can be as efficient as you guys want. So if we want revenue recognition journal entries booked automatically, we can certainly create that for you via custom agents. If we want to make sure it goes through an approval process for materiality purposes, for internal controls, because it's something our auditors are gonna wanna see, of course, we can set that up for you as well. When we think about the closed process, we like to address it via two different swim lanes. Of course, we're focused on efficiency. Right? We're in the AI world now where we think about how many different use cases when it comes to automate manual accounting tasks can be addressed through AI, and, of course, there are many. We've addressed a lot just today in thirty minutes. But, of course, also, there's going to be that internal control segregation of duties component as well. Right? We wanna make sure those internal controls are in place. We wanna make sure, hey. If our auditors are gonna come in, we wanna make sure that our t's are crossed and our i's are dotted. Hey. If we have, dreams of IPOing in two to three years, we need to make sure that we have an IPO readiness ERP set up for us. And so we like to address it through both those swim lanes where depending on your needs, we can be as efficient and as effective as you want, but we also will have natively those internal controls and those segregation of duties built with inside of our core ERP. Awesome. Well, I know we got about thirty minutes left here or I should say twenty five, and so we'll keep walking through. Vasilisa, was there any other questions that you saw come through the chat that you think we should highlight? Yeah. A couple other ones. I think there was, a question about reporting. So in terms of an ARR by customer report, can it be done by customer and by product? So looking at two dimensions simultaneously. Absolutely. And, again, a lot of ways to to skin a cat there with inside of Campfire. So if I go to my revenue dashboard, if I want to see revenue by customer. I can see it on this drop down right here. It's easy to break it out by by product line as well. And that's another use case where we can actually go to that reporting tool. And if I wanna create a custom report, that's a great use case for it where I can pull in the transactional record. In this case, it would be deferred revenue or recognized revenue. I can set up the rows. I can set up the columns right here. So lot of ways to skin a cat. Of course, we can also just say, hey, Amber. What was my ARR or what was my MRR for my Adobe customer for the month of July. So, again, when it comes to reporting questions, I like to break it down into three separate use cases or three separate column swim lanes. You have your core reports that are living living with inside of Campfire. You, of course, can leverage the custom report builder, which will work kind of like a pivot table within Excel, which is really good for custom reports. And then as well, you can leverage our Amber AI tool, which, again, is gonna kinda be your end all, be all, not just from deterministic reporting questions, but as well from an onboarding standpoint, getting you comfortable with inside the system, easy access to both complex and more simple questions. Awesome. We had one more question about foreign, currencies and conversions and crypto support. So I'm I'm happy to take that one. Today in terms of crypto functionality, we can do, the conversions from Bitcoin in the system, and then we do support all kinds of currencies in the system that can be automatically updated. And then we do use the Central European Bank for for those conversions, but we have an, an API if there is another provider that you'd like to use. Absolutely. And that consolidation report where we can see those currencies and those, FX rates can live on the screen right here where they can be pulled in on a daily basis every twenty four hours how you guys see fit. So that would live on the screen right here and, again, is a really good, piece when we think about multi entity reporting. Setting it up on this screen here. If I go ahead and break this out again by entity, if I go ahead and toggle between a specific entity, let's do our UK sub, I can see the US currency right here. But, again, it's a simple toggle just to see it in the book currency where I see it now booked in euros on the screen right here. And those transactions that we're seeing, again, from euro back to USD, it's all tied back to this consolidation report right here. Awesome. Any other questions, Vasilisa? Or do you think it might make sense to walk through, some more closed management functionality like a bank reconciliation? Yeah. I think bank, reconciliations are super important, so let's jump into that. Cool. This is a key differentiator of of ours right now, especially when you compare our platform to other mid market ERPs such as the NetSuite. So managing bank reconciliations, very easy to do with inside of Campfire. We have auto matching rules, whether it's by vendor, whether it's by amount, whether it's by date that can be automated for you for reconciliation purposes. So I'll go ahead and go into this draft screen right here. The bottom line is this. Right? We wanna make sure our reconciliation is diff difference is zero. So what it's doing is if I go ahead and select the edit transactions here, it's taking all the information that was already living within our ERP, within our general ledger that I'll highlight here. These are all those bank statement transactions. And on the right hand side here, this is actually a PDF that I just uploaded that shows my bank statement for the month of July. Now this is a manual PDF upload. Again, there still is really strong automation here in terms of ingesting the PDF just like we saw in the contract use case. Ingesting the PDF, have it come in automatically, and then auto map auto match these, line items again by date, by description, by amount on this screen here for reconciliation purposes. As Vasilisa and I like to point out again, if we wanna talk about bet, direct banking integrations where we bypass a manual PDF upload, we can certainly do that with inside of Campfire. We have direct connections to a multitude of different banks. During the implementation scoping process, we'd wanna make sure to understand what those banks are, but we had not really come across any limitation in terms of the banks that our customers are operating, in currently. So for reconciliation purposes, again, where this is a PDF upload or direct integration via a a bank, this information comes in. Those auto matching rules apply automatically. I'll go ahead and click save reconciliation. I'll go ahead and click mark complete because, again, I'm able to confirm that my reconciliation difference is zero. And then when I click mark complete, again, when we talk about this ERP, this tool being in real time, as you'll see automatically here, it's now marked as approved. So, again, when we think about the period close checklist, right, there's a lot going on during close. Reconciliations for our bank accounts is only really one piece of the puzzle, but I want you all start thinking about the automation and the, internal controls in place to be able to see where we're at throughout the month. Right? Vasilisa and I speak to a lot of customers that come to us and say, hey. Our close process has taken two to three weeks. It's on a pen and paper right now, or it's on a Google Doc that is manual and outdated, and sometimes there's task duplication, sometimes there's lack in approvals. That is all addressed on this screen right here, and, again, the bank reconciliations is really just one piece of that when we think about the period closed checklist with inside of Campfire. So that's reconciliations. I do also wanna point out flux analysis. Again, thinking about us as the the AI native ERP. When I go and look at my month end close or let's say our quarter end close and our CFO, our CEO, our controller says, hey. We need explanations for these variances. Right? It's a common use cases that every business needs to address both at month end and quarter end. It's also a really good use case to leverage our Embraer AI tool where whether it's by budget, whether it's by the p and l. In this case, we're looking at a p and l q two to q three variance. What our Embraer AI tool is doing is basically telling you what the variance what the changes were related to. So for example, my subscription revenue, why did it change? Why did it go up 18.34%, quarter over quarter? I can drill into this like right here, and it's gonna give me qualitative information related to related to that change. Now, of course, again, when we talk about internal controls in place, being able to manage by exception, if I want to go in here and and change the information or if I want to add my own 2¢ as to why that change occurred before I send this out to my CEO or CFO, we can, of course, do that as well. Again, gain you 95% of the way there, but still providing you the flexibility to edit change managed by exception on a go forward basis. Yeah. And I'll add this is this is a really cool feature. I've definitely had customers that were were blown away by this feature. You know, I think they were saying this would maybe take three to four days for them to to put together from all kinds of different sources because they were averaging about, you know, 50 different entities. So this is something that the system can can calculate in maybe thirty seconds. I do see a question here about, doing explanations for, like, translation difference for consolidation purposes. So how we leverage Ember right now for an explanation point of view is strictly related to the flux analysis. That is something that I'm sure we'd be able to roll out of the box with inside of our Ember AI tool, but I do not believe we have that functionality right now. As as Vasilisa and I always like to point out as well, us being two and a half years old, we're continuing to roll out more and more functionality on a more and more frequent basis. The forecasting tool is a great example of that. So, something we can certainly look into explanations for translation, adjustments. Yeah. I think that's that's the exciting part is we can keep saying yes, just because of the... This we... This, the speed that we ship. There's a lot of functionality. It's been released just in my time. And the best part is that we don't gatekeep any kind of modules as soon as they are released out of beta. Almost like a switch, we do enable them for our entire customer base. So you know, folks are not only, buying into Campfire for, the the solution that you're seeing today but also for for future state as we do ship very quickly. Yes. And let's go back to Amber for for the time we have remaining because, again, I just there's so many different use cases that we've come across where Amber AI is a great tool to leverage with inside of our core ERP. So the example I'll show you is this. We've talked about our custom dimensions, our custom tags with inside of Campfire for repurting purposes to allow you to be as possible. Let's, for example, talk about a, let's say, location tag across multiple states within The US. I'll ask Amber a question that says, how much materials and book revenue, which is just a revenue account that I have on my p and l, it's revenue account 4200, was booked to my California location tag for the month of September. And let's say we get this question from our CFO. Again, there's gonna be a lot of ways to get the answer to this question with inside of Campfire. I'll show you the multitude of ways and show you how quick it would be just to leverage Amber. So I'm gonna ask Amber the question first, and we'll see just like Claude, just like ChatGPT, it's taken a few seconds to run. But what? That took maybe thirty seconds, Vasilisa, and it gets me that bottom line number that I'm expecting to see. Excuse me. 2,500. Okay. That's great. Let's say we didn't have Amber. Alright. I would go in. I would pull up an income statement. I would start by searching for the month of September. Let's do September. Let's set up account, location. Again, that's gonna be a custom dimension that I've set up. Account, let's search for 4200. Location, let's search for California. I'll go ahead and select that right there. And there it is. Right? 2500. Again, Amber made maybe took thirty seconds and maybe took could be two minutes to run this right here, which is the ease of use of running that tool. Again, it's just gonna save you so much time throughout the day when it comes to, both complex and simple questions. And and even leveraging the reporting tool again. I'll show you how we can leverage that to get to the same answer. I'll go ahead and click create custom report or create new report. Excuse me. I'll go ahead and select transactions. Let's make sure, again, we select the month of September. Rows, let's do accounts. Columns, let's make sure we do location. I'm gonna set up a filter account. It's gonna be that 4,200. Scroll down to location. Let's find California, and there's that 2,500 amount there as well. So we always like to point out, and I think, again, from a from an end user standpoint, even for me as a solution consultant. Right? Leveraging Ember, that first example I showed where maybe those steps that I just did, for examples two and three, maybe takes me two minutes, but also is the fact that I've spent a lot of Campfire time in Campfire already. Being able to leverage Lamp Amber is great from an end user standpoint. It's really helpful from an onboarding standpoint, right, where easy access to questions, asking it, hey. Where can I find my intercompany transaction screen? Hey. What was my ARR by, you know, my Adobe customers for the month of July? Simple answer excuse me. Quick answers to simple and complex questions as well as just onboarding and learning the tool. It really is gonna be the end all be all when it comes to managing your Campfire instance. And as Vasilisa and I like to point out, it is an accounting layer that sits on top of Claude. So it's an accounting model, LLM that is a accounting and finance, based that has all the ASC six. zero six, ASC eight forty two understanding that you would expect out of an accounting language learning model that lives with inside of Campfire and understands your data. And the best part is it has the full audit trail for folks that are, you know, thinking about audits, currently going through through audits. We have about 1,500 ways that we permission and approves, inside the system, that we worked with actually PwC on that methodology to make sure that the folks can pass their audits without any issue, on that end. So a lot of just audibility, you know, exactly what Amber is doing, wanna make sure that the the AI in the system is not a black box. Yeah. And. I will do a last call for any q and a questions. I think we did have a couple of more that, I'm happy to address. Do you handle stock inventory for the folks working in CPG? So not today. Typically, any kind of inventory. We do work with a partner. We have native integrations with several solutions, and then we are able to really connect with any other solution, via APIs. I think one of the the really great things about Campfire, I'm sure everyone has heard that ERP is is the source of truth and so we really live and breathe by it. We've had our APIs open since day one. So any other solution that you would like to connect, whether that it's something that is a little bit more niche or maybe any kind of homegrown solutions, we're able to to do that as well. Other questions I'm seeing, I think this one was about, migration of of data. So by default, we do look at migration of data in full transaction level detail, not summaries. We started about five years, but we can certainly go back if any further is is needed. I think that's fantastic for folks who don't wanna, you know, work in two systems, Wanna make sure that all that information is in the the new system like Campfire as well. We have some really actually really nifty tools to get that data over. So one of the things that we recently released, I think, within last month is our migration tool. So any of those folks that are on QBO today, they're looking to, move to to an ERP, a campfire. So what we can do with that migration agent is that it takes all that data, brings it over transaction level level detail in about an hour, which I think was very mind blowing from from me, from the legacy space. I think I was used to maybe like a a nine month implementation. So it's definitely game changing. QBO is the first one that we did the migration agent, but we are looking to expand. Yeah. I'll go ahead and even show Vasily. So I'll just show that screen where we can see the the NetSuite and, QuickBooks data migration. So this is where the connection would occur. This is where everything starts and and lives. But to Vasilisa's points, we've seen use cases where it takes us as quickly as as an hour and ninety minutes to to migrate your data over from a QuickBooks or a NetSuite inside a Campfire. Yeah. Awesome. And I do see a question, about pricing. We do have a couple of different ways that we do work with our partners and and partner programs. So I'm happy to to connect with anybody live. I'll send out an email after this, with some information from me in terms of scheduling some time. So happy to kind of go through the different partner programs that we have, particularly for our customers and for our our partners who are doing more of a a managed service. Just looking through the chat as well, Vasilisa, and I'll pass it back to you. I did see a question about intercompany and how that's set up within the system, so I'll go ahead and search really quickly for an intercompany transaction. Very similar to what you'd expect from from any mid market, ERP. So for it to be an intercompany transaction, we just have to make sure we tag it as an intercompany journal entry, and then the automation can occur on the back end. What we like to say is set it and forget it. Right? As soon as the transaction is tagged as intercompany, Campfire will do the heavy lifting for you for for you from there. So what does that heavy lifting entail? Well, first off, we wanna make sure we set up the due from and due tos automatically. So, again, no manual effort on your end in terms of of typing in due from in your company parent or due to by sub one in California. Once you set up the first two line items, Campfire can automate the creation of the next two line items. Again, the due to and due from. And as part of the period closed checklist again, I go to one of my checklists here. I'll look for October 2026. And as the screen updates for me in a second here, my first task is to eliminate those cross entity transactions. And it looks like in this use case, it's already been done, so I can go ahead and see the journal entries. And that's just in summation taking all the intercompany transactions, all the GL accounts that's hidden. So, you know, intercompany AR 1,200, intercompany revenue of $40.30. That all lives here in summation. Question we get a lot, and I I answer this question the same way whether we're talking about amortizations or revenue recognition journal entries. We can get as granular or as high level as you want. So, hey, for intercompany transactions, we wanna book it at the, entity level. Hey. We wanna book it at the monthly level. Hey. We just want everything booked in bulk as one journal entry. We, of course, can set that up for you. Again, that's dealer's choice just based off how you wanna see it. One, from an organizational purpose, again, also from a dimensional reporting purpose as well. Awesome. Thanks, Kyle. So I think we'll we'll start to wrap up here. Really appreciate everybody's time. We'll send a follow-up email after this with the recording. If you'd like to take a look back, I'll add my information on there as well for anyone that would like to connect, speak a little bit more about our partnership opportunities, how we support our accounting firms and our fractional CFO firms. Really, thank you so much for your time, and have a wonderful rest of your days. Thanks, everybody. Thank you. Take care.
